The Bourbon owes its name to the master distiller Basil Hayden. The master distiller had already burned his first Bourbon in the 18th century. Something that was not common at that time. Like today, he added a high percentage of rye to it and gave it an exceptional taste.
Nosing
Poured into the glass, Basil Hayden’s immediately unfolds its interesting combination of aromas. In the nose you can perceive spices with a hint of peppermint. Already this mixture shows the unconventional, but highly charming character of the Bourbon.
