Casa Maestri was founded by Michael and Cecelia Maestri, who moved from Houston, Texas, to Jalisco, Mexico, to start Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. The agave, selected for its high sugar content, is distilled in traditional stone ovens to produce an authentic and high-quality tequila. Distillation is carried out in small batches using the pot still method, which helps to preserve the quality and unique flavour.
