Jack Daniel’s Heritage Toasted Single Barrel is a particularly expressive interpretation of classic Tennessee whiskey. After traditional maturation in new, heavily burnt American white oak barrels, this whiskey is given an additional finish in speciallytoasted barrels. This second barrel phase intensifies sweet, creamy and toasty aromas and gives the whiskey additional depth.

Like every Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel’s, this bottling also undergoes theLincoln County Process, in which the fresh whiskey is slowly filtered through charcoal made from sugar maple. The result is a particularly soft, balanced character – despite its powerful alcohol content.

Tasting notes

Nose: Warm vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, brown sugar

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of toffee, honey, spices and dark oak

Finish: Long, creamy, slightly spicy with lingering sweetness

Serving suggestion

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to bring out the full complexity of the barrel notes. Also ideal as a luxurious base for an Old Fashioned.
