Matsui Whisky THE KURAYOSHI 8 Years Old Pure Malt Whisky 43% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant Japanese pure malt whisky produced in the traditional Matsui Shuzō distillery in Tottori Prefecture. The distillery is picturesquely situated at the foot of Mount Daisen, where particularly pure spring water from volcanic rock is used for production. This water is considered to be one of the decisive factors for the softness and clarity of Kurayoshi whisky.
Kurayoshi 8 Years Old matures for at least eight years in selected oak casks, some of which were previously used for bourbon. This long barrel ageing gives it a harmonious combination of fruitiness, mild sweetness and a gentle spiciness. As a pure malt, it consists exclusively of different malt whiskies that have been masterfully blended to create a complex yet accessible flavour profile. With an alcohol content of 43% vol., it is strong, yet always balanced and smooth.
The stylish gift box (GB) emphasises its premium character and makes it an excellent choice for collectors or as a special gift.
