Master Distiller Billy Walker spends a lot of time in the GlenAllachie distillery’s warehouses – he inspects around 40,000 barrels.
It’s not a job for the faint-hearted, but it’s time well spent as his efforts are rewarded with outstanding results.

Billy Walker’s journey began in 1972 and this bottling celebrates half a century in the industry. GlenAllachie presents the 50th Anniversary Trilogy, which focuses on three areas: Sherry maturation, cask management and distillation.
The first anniversary edition is matured in sherry butts.

The bottling is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Nose: Fruity, notes of walnuts, heather honey, delicate dried fruit, roasted coffee accents, orange peel, cinnamon stick.
Flavour: Rich, notes of fig syrup, roasted pine nuts, heather honey, candied Ingwerer, dried apricots.
Finish: Langs on the palate.
